Sintra and its entire region is rich in regional flavours that you can’t miss. The gastronomy offers unique delicacies such as goat or oven-roasted veal and suckling pig. As for sweets, Sintra’s “queijadas” (cheesecakes) and “travesseiros” (pillows) delight all those who visit us. The Colares region is the westernmost Demarcated Region in continental Europe, since 1908 and, the smallest producing region of still wines in the country. An original viticulture with unusual and ancestral cultural techniques.
